MOSC – Vertical Bar Codes: The scale of the vertical paintings is 163 cm x 71 cm, sized according to my height and the length of my reach. The overall colour cast of each painting is a wash the result of blending all the colours used in the painting. 

By positioning the brick pattern vertically to reflect my erect body, and relating it to the commercial bar code system, I wanted to bring together the act of perception, the presence of the body, and the social systems of exchange.
